Dubai: The upcoming AI innovation summit, Machines Can See, returns to Dubai on April 23–24 as part of the inaugural Dubai AI Week. Backed by entities like Digital Dubai, Yango Group, MBZUAI, Mastercard, and Adia Lab, this third edition cements its position as the Gulf’s largest computer vision event.

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the summit is a hub for global AI experts, government leaders, and industry disruptors. Speakers include H.E. Omar Sultan Al Olama, H.E. Zhaslan Madiyev, and Gobind Singh Deo, addressing national strategies shaping future AI landscapes.

A major highlight is the exclusive SAP workshop titled “Turning AI into Real-World Results.” It allows business leaders to build tailored AI assistants, optimise supply chains, and reimagine customer experiences. “At SAP, we’re excited to empower organisations to accelerate digital transformation,” said SAP UAE’s Marwan Zeineddine.

Panels span themes such as secure AI cities, ROI strategies, and the ethics of ‘Good AI’. Tech leaders from IBM, e&, and Mubadala will weigh in on balancing innovation with responsible AI development.

Yango Group will unveil Yasmina, a localised AI assistant, alongside autonomous delivery robots and warehouse automation tools.
