ABU DHABI: In continuation of the ‘UAE Stands with Lebanon’ national relief campaign, Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) at Expo City Dubai will hold a second aid collection drive on Sunday, October 20, 2024.
The campaign, initiated under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and supervised by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, has seen an overwhelming public response.
H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs and Chair of the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council, is overseeing the campaign’s execution. It aims to gather both cash and in-kind donations, in collaboration with several humanitarian and charitable organisations across the country.
As the campaign enters its second week, the collection and packing of essential food and shelter supplies will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Expo Centre Sharjah. The second event will take place on Sunday, October 20, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at DEC, Expo City Dubai.
In-kind donations can also be dropped off at the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) warehouses in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, or Dubai, as well as at any of the ERC offices across the UAE.

For those preferring to make cash donations, contributions can be made through the ERC’s website, mobile applications, or via their official bank accounts.
This campaign continues to offer an opportunity for the UAE community to extend their support to the people of Lebanon.
