ABU DHABI: Since the launch of “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3,” the UAE has sent 100 humanitarian aid convoys to the Gaza Strip. These efforts have significantly helped ease the suffering of Palestinians affected by the war. The first relief shipment entered Gaza on November 24, 2023.
The aid convoys from the UAE have included a wide range of essential items: medical equipment, food parcels, Emirati dates, shelter tents, clothing, water, baby formula, special parcels for children and women, blankets, relief bags, ambulances, and water tanks and sewage systems. In total, over 20,000 tonnes of aid have been transported by around 1,000 trucks through the Rafah Border Crossing.
After the invasion of Rafah, four more convoys were sent, carrying about 320 tonnes of shelter tents and food parcels. This aid targeted those displaced and affected by the harsh conditions and lack of basic necessities.

The UAE also focused on supporting the health sector, sending more than 16 tonnes of urgent medical supplies and medicines.
Through these relief efforts, the UAE is not only providing essential supplies but also continuing the humanitarian legacy of the late founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. This approach aims to ease the suffering of those displaced by the war, addressing their basic and medical needs. The UAE’s commitment to helping those in need serves as a global example of humanitarian work, reflecting the country’s dedication to supporting brotherly and friendly nations in times of crisis.
