ZEE5 new identity marks a transformational moment as the platform evolves into a hyper-personalised, language-first content hub. Announced globally on 8 June 2025, this relaunch solidifies ZEE5’s position as India’s leading homegrown digital entertainment platform with the promise of “Apni Bhasha, Apni Kahaniyan” (Multiple Languages, Infinite Stories).

Central to this rebrand is a sleek, vibrant logo representing modern India’s rich multilingual fabric. The platform’s updated visual design and intuitive interface reflect a renewed focus on storytelling that connects emotionally with diverse audiences, both within India and worldwide.

ZEE5’s new approach rests on three key pillars: compelling content, seamless user experience, and affordability. The revamped strategy introduces 130+ fresh titles for FY2025–26, spanning originals, films, non-fiction, and live formats across multiple Indian languages. Highlights include Detective Sherdil (Hindi), Sattamum Neethiyum (Tamil), Maarigallu (Kannada), and Vibhishan (Bengali), among others. Each language operates as a distinct vertical to ensure cultural depth and storytelling authenticity.

The platform’s enhanced product experience now features AI-driven recommendations tailored to regional tastes. With hyper-local content discovery, ZEE5 ensures users across all corners of India enjoy meaningful, personalised streaming.

Amit Goenka, President, Digital Businesses, ZEE, said the rebrand aims to “strengthen ZEE5’s presence in Indian and global markets through culturally relevant storytelling and intuitive tech-driven experiences.”

The accompanying campaign, “Apni Bhasha. Apni Kahaniyan,” celebrates language as belonging. Chief Marketing Officer Kartik Mahadev explained, “A story told in your language feels lived in, not just watched.” This multilingual campaign spans seven languages, targeting tier-2, tier-3 cities and international viewers alike.

Chief Content Officer Raghavendra Hunsur emphasised that ZEE5 is spotlighting stories rooted in everyday lives. “We are placing language at the centre of discovery, access, and engagement,” he said.
