The World Police Summit 2025 saw record participation in Dubai, advancing global policing with AI, collaboration, and innovation.

Dubai: The World Police Summit 2025, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, marked a major milestone in global law enforcement cooperation. Hosted from 13–15 May at Dubai World Trade Centre, the summit welcomed 53,922 participants from over 110 countries—tripling last year’s turnout.

Organised by Dubai Police in collaboration with DXB LIVE, this fourth edition attracted top-tier officials including 6 Ministers of Interior, 45 Police Chiefs, and 692 diplomats. A total of 302 global experts spoke across 140 sessions covering 12 critical themes such as AI in policing, anti-money laundering, digital fraud, aviation security, and youth leadership in law enforcement.

The summit has rapidly evolved into a high-impact platform for international collaboration. Discussions among 922 officials and thought leaders further cemented Dubai’s role as a nexus for security innovation and dialogue. Lt. Col. Dr Rashid Hamdan AlGhafri, Secretary-General, remarked, “This year’s turnout and impact have far exceeded expectations.”

Key highlights included 38 memoranda of understanding signed between police agencies, tech innovators, and academia. More than 900 individuals participated in the World Police Summit Awards, with 12 outstanding contributors honoured. Panels spotlighting women in security leadership and next-generation training also drew strong engagement.

The summit featured flagship side events like “Pearls in Policing” and NYU Abu Dhabi’s academic symposium. Strategic partners such as INTERPOL, EUROPOL, and UNODC, along with sponsors like Emirates, G42, IDEMIA, and Dell, contributed to the event’s global impact.

Technology was a key theme, with Presight showcasing AI-powered analytics. CMO Nick Clements noted, “Our tools transform security capabilities through data-driven decisions.” Zenith Technologies and Federal Signal also presented smart safety innovations.

Since its launch in 2022, the World Police Summit has become a pivotal forum for shaping the future of policing, affirming Dubai’s leadership in global security, innovation, and collaboration.
