DUBAI: His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the UAE, attended the final day of the joint military exercise “Desert Flag 10” held in the UAE. The large-scale air drill brought together elite air forces from several allied and friendly nations, underlining strong international military cooperation and training.
Sheikh Hamdan observed multiple phases of the air exercises, which included complex and realistic training scenarios. The event also saw participation from His Excellency Mohamed bin Mubarak bin Fadhel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, and Major General Staff Pilot Rashed Mohammed Al Shamsi, Commander of the UAE Air Force and Air Defence, along with senior military officials.

The joint exercise focused on high-level coordination and operational readiness. Air forces performed various missions designed to improve the integration of tactics, joint operations, and technical expertise. “Desert Flag 10” supported the development of modern air defence strategies by offering a real-world training environment that encouraged collaboration and skill sharing.
Sheikh Hamdan praised the UAE Air Force and the participating teams for their professionalism and preparedness. He highlighted the importance of continued investment in defence capabilities and specialised military training. The exercise reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to building a capable and responsive air force ready to meet future challenges through international partnerships.
