DUBAI: Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, joined National Guard personnel in Hatta, Dubai, for Iftar.
He spoke with the troops after touring the area and reviewing the operations of the military units stationed in border areas.
During his visit, Sheikh Hamdan exchanged Ramadan greetings with the National Guard members and learned about their schedule during Ramadan.
He thanked the armed forces for their dedication to protecting the country’s borders and acknowledged their hard work, especially during Ramadan, when they are away from their families. He praised the National Guard’s important role in ensuring the nation’s security and stability.
Sheikh Hamdan also highlighted the significance of recognizing those who continue working during fasting hours, including Iftar, to ensure that essential services are uninterrupted for everyone.
