DUBAI: Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) has solidified a five-year strategic partnership with Dubai Airports, becoming the exclusive provider of taxi services at Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International (DWC). This move further cements DTC’s position as the leading mobility provider in Dubai.
The agreement is a continuation of the long-standing relationship between DTC and Dubai Airports, aimed at serving the growing number of passengers at DXB and DWC. In 2024, the two airports saw a combined total of 93 million guests, with over 6 million taxi and limousine trips. This number is expected to rise to more than 8 million annual trips by 2029, generating estimated revenues of AED 2.5 billion over the next five years.
DTC’s partnership with Dubai Airports began in 1997 with just 100 taxis, and it has since grown to a fleet of approximately 900 taxis, including 700 dedicated airport vehicles, 500 premium limousines, and specialized taxis for families, women, and people with disabilities.
The partnership also highlights a commitment to innovation, with the taxi and limousine services now equipped with smart dispatch systems and advanced booking technologies, offering cashless payment options for passengers.
Mansoor Alfalasi, CEO of DTC, expressed pride in the partnership, stating, “We’re committed to showcasing Dubai at its best to all passengers, backed by a team of well-trained drivers and sophisticated technology.”
Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, emphasized the importance of seamless ground transport, noting, “This partnership ensures guests at DXB and DWC experience world-class mobility solutions from the road to the air.”
