DUBAI: H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, has highlighted the importance of Emirati Children’s Day, a national occasion that promotes awareness of children’s rights and the collective responsibility to empower them.
Marking the event, Sheikha Latifa emphasised the need to nurture young talents, foster creativity, and provide an environment that supports their growth. She stated, “Our children are the future, the leaders of tomorrow, and the pioneers of change. The most valuable investment we can make is raising conscious, creative, and responsible generations who take pride in their national identity and embody the values of loyalty and belonging.”
She affirmed that Emirati Children’s Day reflects the UAE’s leadership vision, ensuring every child is equipped to build a brighter future. “In the UAE, we see every child as a future leader. Building a nation begins with building people, and human capital is the foundation of sustainable development.”
Sheikha Latifa also stressed the importance of collaboration between public and private institutions to protect, empower, and nurture children. She commended the UAE’s pioneering initiatives in child welfare, highlighting how the nation places children at the core of its progress, ensuring they grow up in a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment.
