Teachers’ Day 2021: Consulate General of India honours educators for their services

Dubai: Consulate General of India in Dubai marked the occasion of Teacher’s day, which is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of the former President and eminent scholar, philosopher, and teacher, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan by recognizing 75 teachers from Indian Curriculum schools in Dubai and the Northern Emirates and honor them for their services rendered to Indian Schools in the United Arab Emirates.

Consul General Dr. Aman Puri in his address invited all teachers to be a part of Shikshak Parv-2021 which is being celebrated by the Ministry of Education, Government of India in recognition of the valuable contributions of teachers and to take New Education Policy (NEP) 2020. He also urged all teachers to join the Indian Consulate in all its events and initiatives to commemorate 75 years of progressive India and the glorious history of its people, culture, and achievements as well as encouraged each of them to celebrate this momentous occasion in their schools.
