Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum inaugurated the MEBAA Show 2024 at Dubai World Central, Al Maktoum International Airport. The event showcased the latest in business aviation innovation, sustainability, and future trends, welcoming exhibitors and visitors from over 95 countries.
Prominent attendees included His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan and industry leaders, setting a collaborative tone for the Middle East’s premier business aviation platform. More than 145 exhibitors displayed cutting-edge technologies and solutions, complemented by an exceptional static display of over 30 aircraft from global giants like Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Dassault, and Gulfstream.
Day one announcements included Qatar Executive’s plans to equip its Gulfstream G650ER fleet with Starlink connectivity, Victor’s launch of the first Arabic jet charter app, and IC Leasing’s order for a second Dassault Falcon 2000LXS. Strategic partnerships were unveiled, including Jetex’s collaboration with Joby Aviation to redefine executive air travel.
The BizAv Talks conference explored themes like sustainability and regional growth. Panels featured insights on the Middle East’s leadership in aviation innovation, with discussions on Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, infrastructure investment, and tourism-driven demand.
