DUBAI: The AC Milan football team is hosting a ‘From Milan to Many: Watch Party’ at the Expo 2020 Dubai for its Champions League game tomorrow against FC Porto.

To help generate excitement and support for the Rossoneri – so-called because of their iconic red-and-black shirts – and with help from the Principal Partner Emirates, former 1980s and 1990s AC Milan legend Daniele Massaro will be in attendance, bringing with him the 1993/94 Champions League trophy won by the club, beating Barcelona in the final 4-0 (with Massaro scoring two of the goals). Other memorabilia, such as the boots and shirt he wore during the game, will also be on display.

Catch Massaro and the trophy at the Emirates Pavilion, where he will present a signed jersey to the airline and perform a meet and greet. Then he will be at the Italy Pavilion, and later at the Aussie Park five-a-side pitch at the Sports, Fitness, and Wellness Hub, where AC Milan has a permanent Academy for the duration of the Expo.

The final destination for Massaro will be the Garden on 1 Sports Lounge, where the game against FC Porto will be screened. Entry is free for all visitors who have a valid Expo 2020 Dubai ticket, with fans attending the event receiving a free AC Milan gift.

More watch parties at other destinations around the globe are planned. The trophy accompanying Massaro will remain on display at the Sports, Fitness, and Wellbeing Hub for the duration of the Expo, while his boots and shirt will be on show at the Garden on 1 Sports Lounge.
