Dubai: Dubai Police have officially unveiled the Defender HSE P400 as the latest addition to their luxury patrol fleet, introduced on the opening day of the World Police Summit at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The new Dubai Police Defender patrol marks the first Defender model to join the force, supplied by Al Tayer Motors, exclusive UAE dealer of Land Rover.

Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi led the launch ceremony, joined by senior police officials and Al Tayer Motors representatives including Mr. Talal Merheb and Ms. Mona Hasan Sadoun.

The high-performance Defender HSE P400 features eco-conscious technology alongside rugged off-road capability. It includes a panoramic sunroof, interactive driver display, 3D surround camera, touchscreen controls, matrix LED headlights, and advanced safety systems such as terrain response, ATPC, and wade sensing. The vehicle is also equipped with an SOS-enabled remote control system, positioning it as a versatile and responsive addition to Dubai’s patrol operations.

Major General Al Ghaithi praised the collaboration, stating, “Integrating luxury patrol vehicles equipped with cutting-edge technology strengthens our presence across various areas and enhances our ability to respond effectively to evolving security needs.”

The Defender is expected to support operations across urban and desert environments, contributing to Dubai Police’s broader goal of combining innovation with public service. The Dubai Police Defender patrol reflects an ongoing strategy to elevate operational readiness with state-of-the-art mobility solutions.

Merheb echoed this sentiment, highlighting the strength of the longstanding partnership. “The Defender HSE P400 is the first luxury Defender to join the police force’s fleet, reinforcing the strategic nature of our collaboration.”
