Dubai Police awards expat who went viral for controlling traffic

Dubai: H. E. Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of #DubaiPolice, honoured Abbas Khan Bhatti Khan, a Pakistani national, for his contribution to regulating traffic flow at a Dubai intersection and ensuring traffic safety until the arrival of competent police patrols. The ceremony was attended by Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, Director of the General Department of Traffic at #DubaiPolice.

About Dubai Police

Dubai Police Force was established on June 01, 1956, and was based in “Naif Fort,” as its Headquarters, until the year 1973 when it was moved to the current location. “Naif Fort” was transformed, later, into one of Dubai Police Stations.
