ABU DHABI: ADNEC Group is excited to share that preparations are well underway for the 20th Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX 2024). This event, which is a must-attend for anyone interested in hunting, equestrian activities, and Emirati culture, will take place from 31st August to 8th September 2024 at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi.

Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is the Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, ADIHEX brings together Emirati traditions with modern innovations. It aims to offer new business opportunities, engage people of all ages, and highlight outdoor adventures and lifestyles.

For the first time, Capital Events, the events management arm of ADNEC Group, is organising this renowned exhibition in collaboration with the Emirates Falconers’ Club. ADIHEX 2024 will feature over two decades of history, showcasing a variety of activities and exhibitions.

Visitors can look forward to cultural displays, traditional performances, and live historical exhibits that celebrate the region’s rich heritage. As the largest event of its kind in the MENA region, ADIHEX will cover 11 cultural sectors, including equestrian sports, falconry, hunting, camping, tourism, marine sports, arts, and more.

A key attraction at ADIHEX will be the Arena, which offers a family-friendly experience with a range of multicultural, educational, and interactive shows. Each day will feature exciting activities, workshops, beauty competitions, and auctions. One highlight will be the Falcon Auction, where attendees can learn about the UAE’s leading role in falcon conservation and bid on premium falcons.

For the first time, visitors will be able to bid for these premium falcons online, with a special viewing area set up at the exhibition.

The ADIHEX Daily Family Show will be packed with thrilling performances, including a showcase by the Abu Dhabi Police Musical Band and a dramatic crime scene reenactment. Other highlights include traditional Ottoman battle scenes, archery on horseback, and the Wings of the Sahara Bird Show featuring exotic birds from Al Ain Zoo. Visitors can also enjoy trick riding and Roman riding performances.

Additionally, the ADIHEX Knowledge Hub will host live demonstrations and workshops on topics like falconry, equestrianism, desert survival, Emirati culture, and more.
