Sheikh Mohammed reviews upgrades and amenities at Dubai International Airport Terminal 3
Mon 15 Jul 2024DUBAI: Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai,, talked about Dubai’s ongoing work to be a top player in various fields, especially travel and air transport. He shared these thoughts while checking out the upgrades at Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3. He was joined by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, who is a key figure in Dubai’s aviation sector.
Sheikh Mohammed emphasized the need to keep improving the infrastructure and services at Dubai’s airports. These improvements help Dubai stay ahead in air travel and prepare for future increases in travelers.
He said that Dubai has become a major global travel hub, making it an important partner in improving the travel experience worldwide.
During his visit, Sheikh Mohammed learned about the projects to improve services at Terminal 3. He looked at the processes in place to help travelers and inspected daily operations to ensure everything runs smoothly for both departing and arriving passengers.
Sheikh Mohammed said that Dubai International Airport is a gateway that shows Dubai’s ambitions for the future. The goal is to keep making the traveler experience better with excellent infrastructure, services, and technology to ensure comfort and safety.
He thanked the airport staff for their hard work, which supports Dubai’s vision to be a top destination for travelers from around the world. Dubai’s vision includes innovation and excellence, and Dubai International Airport is a big part of this plan.
Sheikh Mohammed also appreciated the improvements at Terminal 3, which boost Dubai International Airport’s reputation for high-quality services and its leadership among global airports in international passenger numbers.

He was accompanied by several senior officials, including Mohammed Al Shaibani and Lieutenant General Talal Humaid Belhoul.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed noted that Dubai International Airport’s great performance and record growth reflect Sheikh Mohammed’s vision. This strategy has made the airport known for world-class service in aviation and travel.
This success is part of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to double Dubai’s economy and rank it among the top three global urban economies. This year, Dubai International Airport had its best quarterly performance ever, with 23 million travelers in the first quarter of 2024, marking an 8.4 percent increase from the same period last year.
