DUBAI: Emirates and the Museum of the Future will host the inaugural Aviation Future Week from 15-17 October 2024 in Dubai. This event will bring together UAE ministers, senior government officials, and industry leaders from aviation, aerospace, airfreight, MRO, and logistics. It serves as a platform for discussions on the future of the passenger journey, airfreight demand, and advancements in AI and XR technologies.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group, highlighted Dubai’s commitment to embracing technology and innovation, making it the ideal location for this event. He emphasized that Aviation Future Week will foster collaborations to reshape the aviation industry for more efficient and sustainable operations, enhancing the overall passenger experience.

The three-day event will feature keynote speeches, panels, and workshops. On the first day, experts will focus on air travel demand and airport infrastructure, discussing how stakeholders can improve the passenger experience using advanced technology. The second day will focus on airfreight and logistics, followed by a deep dive into MRO developments in the region. The final day will explore the potential of Web3, AI, and XR solutions in driving efficiency and improving service delivery, while also addressing strategies for adopting these technologies and upskilling the aviation workforce.

In addition to the main programme, Aviation Future Week will showcase the latest aviation technologies through an exhibition platform. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore new products, network with industry professionals, and participate in interactive workshops. These workshops will be led by Emirates and the Museum of the Future, with support from Emirates CX teams, dnata, Emirates SkyCargo, Boeing, and the Emirates Group Youth Council, among others.
