ABU DHABI: The UAE is gearing up to host a variety of global events throughout September, reinforcing its status as a key international hub for business, tourism, and innovation.

Abu Dhabi will be the venue for the 7th Global Aerospace Summit on 25th and 26th September 2024 at the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, gathering leaders from aviation, aerospace, and defence sectors. The summit will focus on boosting sustainability, youth engagement, and innovation in these fields.

From 16th to 18th September 2024, the 3rd World Utilities Congress will take place at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi. Hosted by TAQA, it’s expected to draw over 12,000 experts and feature 110 sessions with 280 speakers, focusing on the electricity and water utilities sector.

For the first time in the Middle East, Abu Dhabi will host the World Congress on Rehabilitation (WCR) from 23rd to 25th September 2024, bringing together leaders and professionals in rehabilitation and healthcare from 100 countries to improve the quality of life for people of determination.

Another significant event is the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) Biennial General Meeting from 28th to 30th September 2024 in Abu Dhabi, highlighting the UAE’s leadership in peaceful nuclear energy development.

The 21st Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) will run from 2nd to 8th September, showcasing thousands of brands across 11 sectors, blending Emirati traditions with modern technology.

Dubai will host the inaugural Dubai AI & Web3 Festival on 11th and 12th September at Madinat Jumeirah, attracting over 100 exhibitors and 5,000 participants to discuss the future of AI and Web3.

The 30th World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS World Congress) will be held in Dubai from 16th to 20th September, focusing on innovations in smart transport and sustainable mobility.

Dubai will also host the 10th edition of the World Free Zones Organisation’s Annual International Conference and Exhibition (AICE) from 23rd to 25th September, with participation from over 100 countries.

The Binos Classic Bodybuilding Championship will be held on 7th and 8th September at the Dubai World Trade Centre, featuring 700 athletes competing for a total prize of AED 1.2 million.

In Sharjah, the 13th International Government Communication Forum (IGCF 2024) will run on 4th and 5th September, focusing on innovative government communication strategies.

Lastly, the 7th Sharjah Investment Forum will be held on 18th and 19th September under the theme “A Futuristic Vision for Smart Economies,” featuring over 80 speakers, including global ministers, officials, and business leaders.
