SHARJAH: Sharjah Media City (Shams) has finalised all preparations for the highly anticipated 3rd edition of Shams Creative Fest, set to take place from February 6 to 9 at its business centre.
The four-day festival promises an immersive experience featuring live musical performances, art exhibitions, cultural and entertainment workshops, and a special selection of film screenings.
A key highlight of the event is the Shams Award for Arabic Content, which recognises and celebrates creators who have enriched Arabic content across digital and media platforms. This initiative aims to promote the Arabic language and culture, while encouraging innovation and creativity across various fields.
Sarah Al Amoudi, a member of the organising committee, stated that Shams Creative Fest reflects the city’s commitment to supporting small and medium-sized businesses, entrepreneurs, and creative minds. She highlighted that scheduling the event over the weekend is a strategic move to attract a larger audience from different backgrounds, ensuring an engaging blend of innovation, entertainment, and culture.
Beyond the cultural showcases, the festival offers an array of experiences, including live shows, interactive workshops, and diverse food stalls serving up a variety of flavours. Visitors can enjoy art displays, networking opportunities, and entertainment in a dynamic setting designed to foster creativity and collaboration.
With an exciting lineup of activities, Shams Creative Fest 2024 is set to deliver an unforgettable cultural and entertainment experience, welcoming creators, innovators, and festivalgoers for four days of inspiration and celebration.
