DUBAI: This Ramadan, Dubai is shining brighter than ever as the city’s streets and landmarks come alive with stunning light displays, celebrating the values of unity, generosity, and cultural heritage. From Jumeirah’s vibrant avenues to Al Khawaneej’s bustling neighbourhoods, the city has been transformed into a dazzling spectacle, as part of the second edition of the #RamadanInDubai campaign.

Launched under the direction of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the campaign has turned Dubai into a visual feast, with intricate lanterns, ornate motifs, and grand light projections filling the city. The public spaces, streets, and landmarks have been beautifully adorned to reflect the essence of Ramadan.

This year’s initiative is part of ‘Anwaar Dubai’, a new project by Brand Dubai, aiming to enhance the city’s aesthetic with festive decorations. Collaborating with key partners like the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Dubai Municipality, and several private sector companies, the city has come together to bring these magnificent displays to life.

Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, expressed gratitude to all the entities involved. “Dubai’s streets are integral to its identity, and during Ramadan, we wanted to enhance their beauty with lights that reflect the spirit of the Holy Month,” she said. “This collaboration creates a warm atmosphere and brings people together, showcasing the city’s creativity and innovation.”

Notable locations like Jumeirah Street, Al Khawaneej Street, and Za’abeel Palace Street are adorned with lights that capture the joy and community spirit of Ramadan. In addition, landmarks such as the Clock Roundabout in Deira and shopping hubs like Mall of the Emirates and Dubai Festival City Mall have been transformed with festive décor, creating a welcoming space for all.

The campaign ensures that Dubai remains a city of light, inviting everyone to experience the magic of Ramadan in the heart of the UAE.
