ABU DHABI: The Liwa festival 2025 will kick off from December 13 to January 4 in Abu Dhabi’s Al Dhafra region, promising motorsports action, live entertainment, and cultural activities under the iconic Tal Moreeb, the UAE’s tallest dune.

Motorsport enthusiasts can look forward to thrilling events like the Freestyle Drift competition on December 13-14, followed by the high-speed Buggy Torque Challenge on December 15. On December 19, the Liwa Burnout Challenge will bring roaring engines and intense burnout contests.

For drifting fans, the Liwa Drift Championship on December 21 will showcase pro drivers’ skills. The adrenaline continues on December 22 with Bike Drag Racing, featuring high-speed bikes tearing through the desert.

The excitement ramps up with Monster Jam on December 27-28, complete with an exclusive Pit Party. Car stunt lovers can enjoy jaw-dropping performances at the Car Stunt Championship on December 30-31. The Electronic Freestyle Championship on January 1 will combine motorsports with tech-driven displays.

The festival will close with the Moreeb Dune Car Championship from January 2-4, challenging drivers to conquer the famed dunes of Liwa.

Beyond motorsports, the Liwa festival 2025 will offer family-friendly fun. The Hollywood Circus will entertain crowds with acrobats, magicians, and clowns, while the Shams Liwa Ferris Wheel promises panoramic views of the desert.

Every evening, visitors can enjoy dazzling fireworks at 8 pm, adding to the festive atmosphere.
