Inaugural Dubai AI & Web3 Festival kicks off today
Wed 11 Sep 2024DUBAI: The Dubai AI Campus, part of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), is currently hosting the inaugural Dubai AI and Web3 Festival today (September 11-12 at Madinat Jumeirah). This event is bringing together 6,000 participants from 100 countries, underscoring Dubai’s role in advancing the global digital economy and AI innovations.
Aligning with Dubai’s vision to become a global hub for the digital economy and a leader in technological innovation, the event is focusing on driving sustainable development through tech-based solutions. It highlights Dubai’s commitment to implementing Web3 technologies, including AI, to fuel economic growth and achieve ambitious future goals.
The festival features a comprehensive agenda, including the Future Tech Talks series, bringing together technology leaders, investors, and regulators. The discussions focus on empowering digital economies and fostering innovation, covering topics such as AI’s impact on the global economy, funding trends in generative AI, and the benefits of AI for both public and private sectors. Over 20 Unicorn businesses, including Builder.ai and Cerebras Systems, are participating, along with 20 ministries, government agencies, global businesses, and venture capital firms.
The festival also emphasizes Dubai’s commitment to innovation, showcasing how AI is disrupting traditional services and reinforcing the city’s status as a leading technology hub. As part of the Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence (DUB.AI), the event aims to accelerate AI adoption across vital sectors.
