DUBAI: Dubai Design Week, the region’s leading design festival, will celebrate its 10th edition from 5th to 10th November 2024. Supported by Dubai Culture and held in partnership with Dubai Design District (d3), this year’s event will reflect on a decade of design and its impact on the UAE and GCC’s interior design and furniture markets, valued at US$26 billion.

The festival will highlight the creative talent and local community it has nurtured, showcasing Dubai’s growth as a global design hub. Over 500 designers and brands from 40 countries will participate, presenting new ideas through installations, exhibitions, and interactive displays.

Khadija Al Bastaki from d3 emphasised how creative industries drive the economy and shape culture. Dubai’s support for creative communities has helped create a rich design story that mirrors the city’s ambitions. Dubai Design Week has played a key role in this by providing a platform for local and international talent while addressing themes like diversity, sustainability, and belonging.

The 2024 edition will introduce ‘Editions,’ a new initiative to shape Dubai’s creative economy, with a focus on sustainable practices and regional architecture.

Natasha Carella, Director of Dubai Design Week, highlighted the global gathering of designers and the festival’s aim to showcase how creativity can tackle modern challenges and shape the future.
