ABU DHABI: The 21st edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2024 is set to take place from 31st August to 8th September at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi which will also showcase Emirati heritage and fishing traditions. The event is held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club. Organised by Capital Events, the exhibition will showcase thousands of brands across 11 diverse sectors, blending Emirati cultural traditions with modern technology.
With the theme ‘Embracing the Future, Honouring the Past,’ ADIHEX 2024 will highlight the UAE’s dedication to preserving its cultural heritage while embracing modern advancements. This year’s event promises to be a vibrant celebration of both tradition and progress, appealing to audiences of all ages. Exhibitors will present products from local and international companies, creating a platform for cultural exchange and innovation.
A key attraction of ADIHEX 2024 will be the Fishing & Marine Sports section. Given the UAE’s extensive coastline of over 1,300 kilometres, fishing has always been an integral part of Emirati culture. The exhibition will showcase the latest advancements in fishing technology, including eco-friendly gear and innovative equipment designed to enhance the fishing experience while promoting sustainability. Traditional fishing methods will also be on display, with cultural workshops and demonstrations that allow visitors to learn about age-old practices like net-making, line fishing, and dhow-building.

In addition to fishing, the event will feature a variety of water sports activities such as scuba diving, snorkelling, kiteboarding, and windsurfing.
