Ram Charan’s first-ever wax figure, featuring his dog Rhyme, debuts at Madame Tussauds Singapore on 20 May 2025.
Singapore: Global superstar Ram Charan has made history as the first Indian celebrity to be immortalised with his pet at Madame Tussauds. The actor unveiled his first-ever wax figure—alongside his dog Rhyme—at Madame Tussauds London before the statue heads to its permanent home in Singapore on 20 May 2025.
Joined by his family and father, legendary actor Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan shared his amazement: “The likeness is unbelievable. It’s like looking in a mirror.”
The figure captures Ram Charan in a custom black velvet bandhgala—the same outfit he wore to the 2023 Oscars when “Naatu Naatu” from RRR made history with India’s first-ever Oscar for Best Original Song. The sculptors paid intricate attention to detail, from Charan’s posture to Rhyme’s alert gaze.
Jim Kempton, Principal Sculptor at Merlin Magic Making, noted: “This project was about capturing both a film icon and his deep bond with Rhyme. Every detail was carefully crafted.”
Andre Timmins, Co-Founder of IIFA, hailed the moment as a celebration of Indian cinema’s global rise: “Ram Charan’s unveiling reflects the world’s growing recognition of South Indian cinema’s impact alongside Bollywood.”
Fans visiting Madame Tussauds Singapore from 20 May can get up close with the superstar and his furry friend. The exhibit is part of the museum’s continued tribute to Bollywood and regional cinema through immersive experiences and cultural showcases.
