SHARJAH: The 8th edition of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (SEF) is set to take place on February 1-2, 2025, at the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP). Organised by the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre (Sheraa), the two-day event will host keynote speeches, workshops, and activities across 10 themed zones and five stages.

With the theme “Where We Belong,” SEF 2025 aims to foster collaboration and showcase innovative solutions. Najla Al Midfa, Vice Chairperson of Sheraa, highlighted the event’s importance, saying, “SEF brings together a global community to reimagine possibilities and drive sustainable growth, reinforcing Sharjah’s position as a hub for entrepreneurship.”

Sara Abdelaziz Al Nuaimi, CEO of Sheraa, echoed these sentiments, noting the festival’s impact on entrepreneurs: “SEF creates opportunities for entrepreneurs to connect and collaborate, offering resources and insights to help them innovate and thrive.”

The festival will feature zones dedicated to creative industries, start-ups, sustainability, wellness, local talent, and international pavilions. Attendees can participate in SEF Academy workshops, explore a market showcasing local products, and engage in networking opportunities with investors and industry leaders.

Since its inception, SEF has welcomed over 30,000 attendees, hosted more than 780 speakers, and supported over 370 start-ups. This year promises to build on that legacy, offering valuable insights and opportunities for innovation.

As Sharjah continues to position itself as a regional hub for entrepreneurship, SEF 2025 will provide a platform for both established and emerging entrepreneurs to connect, collaborate, and drive forward sustainable growth.
