SHARJAH: Sharjah Media City (Shams) has announced the third edition of the Shams Creative Fest, set to take place from 6–9 February 2025 at the Shams Business Centre. This exciting festival aims to celebrate entrepreneurship, innovation, and cultural richness by bringing together small and medium enterprises, creative talents, and industry experts.
One of the event’s highlights is the Shams Award for Arabic Content, which honours individuals who have enriched Arabic content across digital and media platforms. This initiative promotes the Arabic language and culture while fostering creativity and innovation in various fields.
The festival serves as a platform for entrepreneurs and creative thinkers to showcase their projects and talents to potential investors and collaborators. Rashid Abdullah Al Obaid, Director of Shams, emphasised the festival’s alignment with Shams’ mission to support emerging businesses and local artists. He noted the importance of providing spaces where participants can innovate, collaborate, and gain recognition.
Running daily from 17:00 to 23:00, the four-day festival offers a packed schedule, including live music, art exhibitions, cultural workshops, and family-friendly film screenings. Visitors can also enjoy interactive competitions, prize draws, and a diverse selection of culinary delights from food stalls.
Musical performances by celebrated Arab artists will add a unique flavour to the event, blending traditional and contemporary styles to create a memorable experience. This dynamic fusion of art, entrepreneurship, and culture underscores Shams’ commitment to fostering a vibrant creative scene.
Past editions of Shams Creative Fest have been highly successful, attracting diverse participation and large audiences. This year’s event builds on that legacy, aiming to inspire innovation, strengthen creative industries, and contribute to the economic and cultural growth of the region.
