This year’s festival, dedicated to honoring women in Urdu culture, promises a vibrant celebration of the language, art, and traditions of the Urdu community. It offers a unique, family-friendly environment featuring renowned performances, interactive sessions, and exhibits that bring Urdu heritage to life.

Imran Abbas in Sukoon
Renowned Pakistani actor, singer, and poet Imran Abbas will grace the festival with Sukoon, an enchanting musical session that captures the serene and soulful essence of Urdu poetry and song. Poetry Session – Sukhanwar Bahut Achchhe

In addition to these headline performances, the Cultural Carwan Urdu Festival 2024 features an impressive lineup of events, including Bazm-e-Chubhan, a dramatic performance by young talents, Hanste Raho, a comedy show, and Kahani Suno, a storytelling session. An exhibition titled Fun Bazaar will showcase cultural products and interactive activities, providing families with a unique opportunity to engage with Urdu heritage.
This year’s festival will also feature Sukhan-Kadah, a local mushaira, where some of the best local Urdu poets will be celebrated for their talent and contribution to the language.
