ABU DHABI: The UAE President’s Endurance Cup commenced on February 9 at the Emirates International Endurance Village in Al Wathba. Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the 26th edition of this prestigious event welcomed elite male and female riders from across the world.
The endurance race, spanning 160 km, opened with a grand ceremony featuring heritage performances, an equestrian showcase, and a documentary film highlighting the history of the championship and the endurance village. Additionally, an operetta celebrating horses and horsemanship captivated the audience, and event partners were honoured for their contributions.
The Emirates International Endurance Village ensured all necessary preparations were completed for the smooth organisation of the race. This year’s event saw a strong turnout, with an initial registration of 146 riders eager to take on the challenging course.
