ABU DHABI: UAE Muay Thai Open Championship is going to feature 551 fighters from 47 national clubs, including male and female participants aged 8 to 23, competing in 12 weight categories. This championship is set to take place from August 9 to 11, 2024, with weigh-ins and medical checks on August 8. Preliminary rounds is set to start at 10 AM on August 9 and continue on August 10.
The finals is set to begin at noon on August 11. It is set to be held at the Space 42 Arena in Al Raha Beach, Abu Dhabi. The championship aims to advance Muay Thai in the UAE by providing opportunities for youth and juniors to develop their skills, gain competitive experience, and engage in meaningful activities during the summer season. It continues the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation’s commitment to promoting the sport and identifying new talent.

The event is going to include include a series of competitive matches following weight-ins and medical checks. The championship is part of a broader initiative led by the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation under Abdullah Saeed Al Neyadi, focusing on offering exceptional programs and activities to foster growth in Muay Thai and broaden its reach among the youth.
