FIFA unveils emblem, audio signature for new FIFA Club World Cup
Thu 05 Sep 2024ZÜRICH: FIFA has revealed the emblem for the first 32-team FIFA Club World Cup, set to take place in the United States from 15th June to 13th July 2025. This will be the largest and most inclusive club football competition ever.
The event will feature teams from all six continental confederations: AFC (Asia), CAF (Africa), Concacaf (North, Central America, and the Caribbean), CONMEBOL (South America), OFC (Oceania), and UEFA (Europe). UAE’s Al Ain FC, recent AFC champions, will also participate.

FIFA aims to create more opportunities for national teams and clubs, aligning with their 2023-2027 strategic goals to elevate global football standards. So far, 30 of the 32 teams have qualified, with the remaining two spots reserved for a South American club and the host nation’s representative.
The emblem for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ is inspired by football’s rich history and culture. It features the initials “C-W-C” abstracted into a circular icon, symbolizing the global nature of the competition. The design will be adapted for all future editions of the tournament.

Gala’s “Freed from Desire,” a popular football anthem, will serve as the audio signature for the event. FIFA has also launched the campaign “Take it to the World,” encouraging fans to share what makes their club unique.
This competition will redefine how true club world champions are crowned, ensuring that the best teams from each continent have the chance to compete on a global stage.
