ABU DHABI: Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship is heading to Moscow for its landmark 10th edition on 31st May. This marks the first time the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship will take place in Russia, as the event expands its global footprint.
Held at the Dynamo arena, the Moscow debut will spotlight elite athletes from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan, as well as top Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu professionals. The championship aims to deepen its presence in Russia and Central Asia—regions rich in combat sports history.
Organisers chose Moscow due to its strong legacy in wrestling and MMA. “For this edition, we carefully selected some of the world’s top-ranked fighters,” said Tariq Al Bahri, General Manager of International Vision Sports Management. “The match card includes unprecedented showdowns in Jiu-Jitsu, Grappling, and MMA. We expect a large turnout, especially considering the Russian audience’s strong passion for combat sports.”
The Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship is renowned for its world-class bouts and growing international appeal. Its 9th edition in Paris drew record attendance and global media coverage. This Moscow edition is expected to top that with new levels of competition and engagement.
Interestingly, this move also opens doors for rising talent from Central Asia, where combat sports continue to thrive. Abu Dhabi Extreme views this as a key step in its mission to globalise Jiu-Jitsu and MMA while celebrating local strength.
The Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship is not just a competition—it’s a showcase of discipline, strategy, and high-level athleticism on the world stage.
