Google launches Veo 3 on Gemini in MENA, allowing AI Pro subscribers to generate high-quality, sound-enabled videos using simple text prompts.
Dubai: Google has launched Veo 3, its latest state-of-the-art generative video model, across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), enabling Google AI Pro subscribers in the region to create eight-second cinematic videos using just text prompts. The rollout marks a major step forward in AI-powered creativity for content creators, marketers, educators, and storytellers across the region.
Veo 3 is now integrated directly into the Gemini app. By entering a simple scene description, users can generate a custom video complete with 720p visuals, original audio, dialogue, music, and sound effects, all created natively by the model.
First unveiled at Google I/O 2025, Veo 3 sets a new standard in text-to-video generation. It excels in physics realism, scene accuracy, and prompt adherence, while offering users dynamic control over audio design – including environmental sounds and character voices. The model combines creative storytelling with technical precision, allowing users to express visual narratives in seconds.
To ensure transparency, Google embeds a SynthID watermark into all AI-generated content, including Veo 3 outputs. Additionally, a visible watermark is added to all generated videos, except those created by Ultra members using Flow – Google’s advanced AI film-making platform. The recently introduced SynthID Detector is also being tested by early adopters, with a wider rollout expected.
The launch of Veo 3 in MENA underscores Google’s commitment to making advanced AI tools more accessible worldwide. With Gemini’s intuitive interface, users in the region can now translate written ideas into vivid visual experiences without requiring advanced video production skills.
