UAE AI Office teams with Samsung at UAE AI Camp 2024

DUBAI: The UAE’s Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office has partnered with Samsung Gulf Electronics to bring Samsung’s Innovation Campus (SIC) to the UAE AI Camp 2024. This collaboration is a key step in promoting AI education among UAE youth, supporting the UAE’s Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031.

The partnership will integrate the globally recognized Samsung Innovation Campus into the UAE AI Camp 2024, offering participants a solid foundation in AI fundamentals, machine learning, and practical applications. This collaboration emphasizes the importance of government-private partnerships in advancing technology and boosting the UAE’s economy.

Saqr Binghalib, Executive Director of the UAE’s AI Office, highlighted that this partnership with Samsung aligns with the UAE’s goal of becoming a global leader in AI. By combining government and private sector expertise, the UAE AI Camp will provide young people with top-tier education in AI, fostering the next generation of innovators.

DooHee Lee, President of Samsung Gulf Electronics, emphasized Samsung’s commitment to education and technology. Through the Samsung Innovation Campus at the UAE AI Camp, they aim to empower the youth with essential AI skills, helping them thrive in a tech-driven world.

The UAE AI Camp is the region’s leading event for AI education, offering extensive training, workshops, and expert talks on topics like the future of AI, virtual and augmented reality, data science, AI in healthcare, and cybersecurity. The Camp provides a unique opportunity for participants to learn from industry experts and explore AI’s diverse applications.
