UAE announces 15 September as Prophet’s birthday holiday for private sector

ABU DHABI: The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) UAE has announced that Sunday, September 15, 2024 (12th Rabi’ al-Awwal 1446H), will be a paid public holiday for private sector employees to mark the Prophet’s birthday.

This decision is in line with the UAE Cabinet Resolution on official public holidays for both the public and private sectors in 2024.

On this occasion, MoHRE conveyed its heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the UAE’s leadership, as well as to all citizens and residents of the UAE.
