DUBAI: Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is set to introduce four new Metro Link bus routes and enhance several others, including one intercity route, starting 30th August. These changes are designed to improve daily commutes across the Emirate.

The new routes involve splitting Route 31 into F39 and F40. F39 will connect Etisalat Bus Station to Oud Al Muteena, and F40 will link Etisalat Bus Station to Mirdif, both with a 30-minute frequency. Additionally, Route F56 will be replaced by F58 and F59, connecting Al Khail Metro Station to Dubai Internet City and Dubai Knowledge Village, also with 30-minute intervals.

Further adjustments include renaming and splitting Route 21 into 21A and 21B for better route identification. Route 61D will merge with Route 66, and Route 95 will merge with 95A to streamline services. Route 95A’s path will be adjusted to cover Jebel Ali Industrial Area, and Route 6 will be shortened to serve Dubai Healthcare City. Route E700, an intercity service, will now start from Etisalat Bus Station instead of Union Bus Station.
