DUBAI: Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched two new circular public bus routes to enhance local connectivity: DH1, linking Dubai Hills to Equity Metro Station, and DA2, connecting DAMAC Hills to Dubai Studio City.

These routes are part of RTA’s efforts to bolster the internal bus network and better integrate with other modes of public transport across the Emirates.

Adel Mohammed Shakeri, Director of Planning and Business Development at RTA’s Public Transport Agency, highlighted the importance of these services in facilitating convenient and efficient movement throughout Dubai. The aim is to provide seamless mobility options that improve connectivity within residential communities.

DH1 operates on a circular route between Dubai Hills and Equity Metro Station, running hourly from 7:09 am to 10:09 pm on weekdays and until 12:09 am on weekends (Friday to Sunday).

DA2 serves as a circular route between DAMAC Hills and Dubai Studio City, operating every two hours from 5:47 am to 9:32 pm daily. The fare for each journey is AED5.

RTA continues to expand its public bus network, enhancing connectivity with other mass transit systems such as the metro, tram, and marine transport. This integration aims to make public transport more accessible and preferable for residents and visitors alike across Dubai.
