Lulu Hypermarket and APEDA launch Indian Mango Mania 2025 in UAE, showcasing India’s finest mango varieties and mango-inspired delicacies.
UAE: Lulu Hypermarkets has launched Indian Mango Mania 2025, a vibrant summer campaign in partnership with India’s Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), the Embassy of India, and various state governments. Timed with the seasonal mango peak, the event aims to promote India’s mango heritage and boost agri-export opportunities across the Gulf.
The campaign was officially inaugurated at Lulu Hypermarket in Khalidiyah Mall, Abu Dhabi, by H.E. Sunjay Sudhir, Ambassador of India to the UAE, alongside Yusuffali M.A, Chairman of Lulu Group, and Dr. C.B. Singh, Deputy General Manager of APEDA. Senior diplomats and Lulu officials also attended the event.
“Lulu has been instrumental in bringing the richness of Indian produce to the world stage,” said H.E. Sunjay Sudhir. “This festival celebrates the diversity of Indian mangoes, especially those from the northeast, and supports Indian farmers by enhancing export visibility.”
Mangoes from Every Region
Indian Mango Mania 2025 brings a curated range of mango varieties flown in from across India. Northern and eastern gems like Daseri, Chausa, Fazli, Amrapali, and Langra feature alongside southern favourites such as Alphonso, Badami, Thottapuri, and Neelam.

Boosting Indian Agri-Exports
Dr. C.B. Singh of APEDA noted that the campaign supports India’s agricultural exports while celebrating regional mango diversity. “This is more than a retail festival—it’s a platform for farmers and a cultural showcase.”
This initiative is part of Lulu’s long-standing mission to support Indian farmers and promote Made-in-India products globally.
Key Lulu officials present included Salim M.A, Director of Global Operations, and Salim VI, Chief Operating and Strategy Officer, underscoring the group’s commitment to cultural retail experiences and food sustainability.
