DUBAI: Dubai Municipality has unveiled a sprawling 10,500-square-metre family park in Al Aweer II, designed to blend open green spaces with modern recreational facilities. This project aligns with the Municipality’s mission to enhance public parks, promote family-friendly spaces, and improve the quality of life for Dubai’s residents.

Inspired by Al Aweer II’s natural charm, the park incorporates native trees like Ghaf, Al Shuraish, Plumeria, Vikes, and Albizia to reflect the emirate’s ecological character. Families can enjoy a variety of amenities, including children’s play areas, jogging tracks, and fitness zones, creating a serene escape for nearby residents.

Bader Anwahi, CEO of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality, remarked, “Developing public parks and family spaces is at the core of our efforts. We aim to provide world-class recreational facilities that enhance residents’ quality of life.”

He further noted, “These projects not only beautify Dubai but also foster active lifestyles, strengthen community ties, and create investment opportunities for local businesses to flourish.”

The park is part of Dubai Municipality’s broader strategy to build inclusive, accessible spaces for all segments of society. By integrating modern infrastructure with sustainability, these developments highlight Dubai’s commitment to creating vibrant and culturally rich communities.

With its thoughtful design and diverse offerings, the park is poised to become a popular spot for families and fitness enthusiasts, further elevating Dubai’s reputation as a global leader in urban living.
