SeaWorld Yas Island celebrates opening with star-studded event

Abu Dhabi: SeaWorld Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, the region’s first Marine Life Theme Park, has officially opened its doors to the public, offering exciting activities and immersive excursions for customers of all ages.

The extravagant opening ceremony included performances by Emirati superstar Hussain Al Jassmi and Scottish recording artist Red, accompanied by an outstanding orchestra comprising 120 players.

The event commemorated the opening of the cutting-edge Marine Life Theme Park, dazzling the audience with stunning music and light effects. Hundreds of elite visitors and celebrities attended the much-anticipated event.

Miral created SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, the newest addition to Yas Island’s collection of theme parks, in collaboration with SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, a renowned educational theme park and entertainment corporation with a strong focus on zoological conservation.

The celebrations kicked off in the One Ocean realm, where guests were treated to an exclusive first look at SeaWorld Abu Dhabi’s stunning spectacle, “One Epic Ocean.”

This immersive project showed the marvels of the ocean using multimedia displays and innovative spatial audio technologies. The stage came alive as young marine enthusiasts unleashed a mesmerizing music and light show that included a swirling vortex illuminating the One Ocean globe.

With its different marine-themed kingdoms, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi on Yas Island provides guests with a one-of-a-kind experience. Visitors can immerse themselves in a world of discovery by visiting each realm, which symbolizes a different aquatic ecosystem found around the world.

The park also has over 15 interactive rides and attractions that take tourists on unique underwater journeys. There are attractions for all ages, from the Manta Coaster in the Tropical Ocean domain to the Hypersphere 360o in the Arctic Realm of the Polar Ocean.

Throughout the day, live characters and performances provide entertainment. There are 18 distinct dining experiences available, ranging from quick nibbles to formal meals. Souvenirs and items are also available at the park’s 13 retail outlets.

Yas Island’s portfolio of theme parks and attractions now includes SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, as well as Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, and CLYMB Abu Dhabi, making the island a popular leisure destination.
