Captain America 4, retitled Brave New World, to land in theatres on May 3, 2024

The fourth “Captain America” film from Marvel Studios will be titled “Brave New World” on Tuesday, the studio revealed.

The film’s new name—”Captain America: Brave New World”—was announced by the studio on Twitter.

“Captain America: Brave New World.  In theaters May 3, 2024,” read a post on Marvel Studios’ official page.

The movie’s creators also released a first-look image of Anthony Mackie and Harrison Ford on the set.

Marvel Studios revealed in July of last year that “Captain America 4” was be titled “Brave New World” and would be released on May 3, 2024.

Anthony Mackie makes his debut in the movie as the movie’s main character. Initially playing the Falcon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), he later portrayed Captain America in the Disney+ series “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.” Julius Onah is the director of “Captain America: Brave New World”. Additionally, he co-wrote the script for the movie with Malcolm Spellman, the man behind “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.”

With this movie, Ford makes his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, the President of the United States in “Brave New World.” Tim Blake Nelson and Liv Tyler are reprising their roles as Samuel Sterns and Betty Ross, respectively, from “The Incredible Hulk.” Actors Danny Ramirez and Shira Haas finish off the cast.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Chris Evans originated the character of Captain America. After the release of “Avengers: Endgame”, he put the shield down and retired from the superhero franchise.
