DUBAI: The Dubai Maritime Authority at the Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation has partnered with Gulf Craft to simplify boat registration services for customers. The agreement was signed by Sheikh Dr. Saeed bin Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum, Executive Director of Dubai Maritime Authority, and Abeer Alshaali, Deputy Managing Director of Gulf Craft.

Under this partnership, a unified platform will be created for the easy registration and licensing of boats in Dubai. Customers can now purchase vessels from Gulf Craft and register them directly through Dubai Maritime Authority’s electronic system, all within a legal framework.

Sheikh Saeed highlighted that this partnership supports the government’s goal to make processes smoother for clients, aligning with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to provide the best experience for anyone dealing with the Dubai government. He also emphasized the Authority’s commitment to working with partners to ensure all boats in Dubai meet safety standards and regulations.

Abeer Alshaali stated that this collaboration with Gulf Craft aims to streamline boat registration, licensing, and inspection processes for boats, saving time and effort for clients. She also mentioned that this partnership will boost Dubai’s maritime sector, making it a top choice for seafarers.
