Dubai: The 10th Annual Career Fair at BITS Pilani Dubai marked a significant shift in the UAE’s talent landscape, as 79 companies—up 43.6% from last year—flocked to recruit future-ready graduates. The event highlighted the growing confidence among UAE employers in the campus’s ability to produce job-ready professionals for today’s evolving industries.
Held at the Dubai International Academic City campus, the fair welcomed major multinational and local employers including Alpin, Deriv, Schindler, Emirates Post, and Al Shirawi Group. This broad participation, spanning sectors such as AI, IT, Fintech, Manufacturing, and Sustainability, reflects BITS Pilani Dubai’s increasing relevance in delivering agile, industry-aligned talent.
“This career fair reflects not just the scale of our ambition, but the strength of our student-industry ecosystem,” said Professor Souri Banerjee, Director of BITS Pilani Dubai.
BITS Pilani Dubai’s first-ever paperless career fair further reinforced its commitment to sustainability. More than 1,800 digital applications were processed via a custom-built app, with over 200 students shortlisted by recruiters—clear signs of rising demand for locally educated graduates.
The event also showcased the campus’s role in supporting the UAE’s national goals around localisation and innovation. As companies seek talent that can adapt quickly to new technologies and business models, BITS Pilani Dubai is positioning itself as a trusted hub for future-proof education.
